Alvan, wealthy and arrogant, bets his friends he can seduce Tilda, a waitress, within two weeks. He hires a man to harass her at the restaurant where she works, then steps in as her protector, winning her gratitude. She falls for his attention and lavish gifts, believing he has changed. When he celebrates the successful bet in front of her, the humiliation is total. She tries to move on. Chief, Alvan's father, punishes him by forcing him to work as a waiter in the same restaurant for two months, where Tilda is now manager. Alvan struggles with menial tasks and public scorn, including from Tilda. Over time, he learns humility and genuinely reforms, apologizing to her. She forgives him and they begin a relationship. But seeing him with his ex-fiancée Ivory stirs her doubts. At the company's fifteenth anniversary, Alvan publicly declares his love for Tilda. She walks away, still hurt by the past. He follows her to the parking lot, explains that he broke up with Ivory, and insists he has changed. She admits she loves him and does not want to lose him. They embrace and kiss, reconciling. Alvan promises to put her first. The film ends with the couple together, having overcome deception and misunderstanding.
