Addicted

Ford, born into wealth, is consumed by his relationship with Bentley, a woman who finds excitement in carjackings and robberies. His mother despises Bentley and wishes he would reconnect with his childhood friend Jessica, who returns from abroad and immediately sees the damage. Ford feels trapped, yet Bentley manipulates him into continuing their reckless spree, including planning to rob a perfume store and hiring a hacker for internet fraud. After a robbery leads to Ford's arrest, his mother confronts him, and he finally tells Bentley he wants out. She refuses, but Ford blocks her number and moves out, leaving her devastated. Ford begins to rebuild, joining his family's business. Despite his mother's pleas, he decides to move to Canada to expand the company. Before leaving, he shares a tender moment with Jessica, hinting at a future together. Three years later, Ford returns to Nigeria. He unexpectedly runs into Bentley, who has transformed her life: she went to rehab, built a successful business, and is now engaged. She thanks Ford for leaving her, acknowledging it forced her to change. Ford is now married to Jessica, and they are expecting their first child, having found the stability he always needed.
