A Place Called Love

Jason, a wealthy man, overpays for a haircut at Nneka's barber shop. She chases his car to return the extra money, but he drives off. Later, his friend Zikan complains about a rude barber, prompting Jason to visit the salon. He gets a haircut from Nneka, finding her charming and generous, and asks her out. They begin dating; he takes her to fancy restaurants, surprises her with gifts, and brings her to his luxurious home. Nneka initially suspects he might be a ritualist but slowly falls for him. Jason's mother disapproves of Nneka's low social status, yet Jason insists she is the one. Nneka's violent ex-boyfriend shows up at her home, forcing her to flee to Jason's house. When Jason sees them together, he misunderstands and locks her out. Nneka spends the night on his doorstep. The next morning, Jason's friend confronts him, and Nneka explains that her ex was harassing her. Jason apologizes, and they reconcile. Realizing his love for her, Jason plans a romantic proposal under a decorated canopy with fireworks. He gets down on one knee and asks Nneka to marry him. Nneka joyfully accepts, and the couple embraces as fireworks light up the sky. Jason's mother, who had previously offered Nneka money to leave, now gives her full support after witnessing their genuine love. The movie ends with the couple happily engaged.
