Storyline
Moses returns to his mother's home after years abroad, a software engineer confronting his mother's devout Christian expectations that he marry a woman from the church. To assert his own path, he launches a Christian dating app called GenC, using the alias "Kay" to find a partner. His neighbor Deborah, grieving the loss of her twin sister Beth and brother-in-law in a car accident, is pregnant with Beth's child and living with her friend Cassie, a content creator. Seeking distraction, Deborah joins GenC as "Dee" and matches with Kay, building an emotional connection while both hide their real names and faces. Unaware of their online bond, they meet as neighbors, and Moses, believing Deborah is married due to her pregnancy, struggles to suppress his attraction. Cassie discovers that Moses is Kay and Deborah is Dee, but Deborah, ashamed of her situation, refuses to reveal the truth. When Moses confesses his love, Deborah finally admits she is not married—the child is her sister's—and Moses, feeling betrayed by the months of secrecy, cuts off their friendship. Deborah attempts to leave, but Cassie pushes her to fight for the relationship. Moses' mother, after learning Deborah's tragic story, softens and shares her own past of being abandoned while pregnant, giving her blessing. Moses, still hurt but unable to stop loving Deborah, asks for a chance to date officially. On their first date, Deborah's water breaks, sending Moses into a panic as he rushes her to the hospital. She gives birth to a baby girl, whom they name Beth. Months later, the family gathers for a meal: Moses and Deborah are together, Cassie and Moses' mother have become close friends, and the birth story is retold with laughter. Deborah thanks Moses for accepting her and the baby, and they affirm their love with a kiss as the credits roll.
