EARLY LIFE

Zainab Bakare, professionally known as Zainab Bakare or Lady Zhee (full name Bakare Zhainab Opeyemi), was born on March 10, 1988, in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. She grew up in a vibrant Lagos environment that exposed her to the entertainment world from a young age. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bakare, supported her creative interests—her father worked as a businessman and her mother as a trader. She has one sister named Timileyin Damilare Bakare. Zainab attended CMS Girls Grammar School in Lagos for her secondary education, where she began exploring her passion for performance and storytelling. She later pursued higher education at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Ilaro, earning a degree in Mass Communication. Her academic background in communication and media helped shape her skills in acting, content creation, and production.
