EARLY LIFE

Yetunde Barnabas was born on August 30, 1990, in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. Her family is originally from Ejuku, Yagba East, Kogi State. She grew up in Abuja in a Christian home alongside two younger sisters. She lost her father at the age of 17, after which her mother became her sole guardian. She attended Love International Primary School and Kings of Kings Secondary School in Abuja. Her passion for acting began in church dramas during her childhood. She honed her acting skills at Seriki Olopolo Production and Royal Arts Academy. She also pursued higher education at Olabisi Onabanjo University, where she studied Industrial Relations and Personnel Management.

They began dating in 2019, got engaged in late 2020, and had three wedding ceremonies in 2021: a traditional introduction on March 27 in Lokoja, a court wedding at the Federal Marriage Registry in Ikoyi, Lagos, and a white wedding on June 21. The couple has one daughter, Gemma Olayinka.

CAREER

Yetunde Barnabas began her modeling career in 2013, winning the Miss Olokun beauty pageant. She gained national recognition after winning The Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja pageant in 2017 and was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria in 2019. She is widely known for her role as Miss Pepeiye on Nigeria's long-running sitcom, 'Papa Ajasco and Company'. She has featured in and produced several Nollywood films, including 'Omo Iya Osun' and 'Elegbenla'. Beyond acting, she is also a successful entrepreneur, owning Star Queens Skincare beauty salon and maintaining a YouTube channel.
