Ruth Kadiri was born on March 24, 1988, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. She is the first of two children. She studied Mass Communication at the University of Lagos and Business Administration at Yaba College of Technology.

CAREER

Ruth Kadiri is a storyteller at heart. Her journey into Nollywood didn't begin in the actor's chair but with a pen, where she first crafted compelling narratives. This passion for storytelling fueled her transition to acting; she ventured into Nollywood with the movie 'Boys Cot' and has since appeared in over fifty films. As a screenwriter, she has written and co-written several movies, including 'Matters Arising', 'Heart of a Fighter', and 'First Class'. She has also produced films such as 'Matters Arising', 'Over the Edge', and 'Somebody Lied', and built her own creative world with Ruth Kadiri Films.

PERSONAL LIFE

She married Ezerika Emmanuel in 2018. They have two daughters, born in August 2019 and July 2022. A dedicated mother and a sharp entrepreneur, she masterfully balances the worlds of family and filmmaking, proving she is a true powerhouse driven by creativity and an unwavering determination to bring stories to life.
