EARLY LIFE
Onyekachi Nnochiri, popularly known as Kachi Nnochiri, was born on February 8, 1984. He is a native of Amuhi Eluoma, Uzuakoli in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria, and is of Igbo descent. He is the youngest of three siblings, with one brother and one sister, Ezinne Chukuka née Nnochiri. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nnochiri, are both deceased; his father passed away in 2010 and his mother in 2023 at the age of 76.
CAREER
Kachi Nnochiri began his career in entertainment in 2007, achieving recognition as the second runner-up in the Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO) acting reality show. Before focusing on acting, he worked as an O.A.P. with Classic FM as a broadcaster. He is known for his roles in numerous Nollywood movies, including "When Love Beckons" (2021), "Old Habits" (2022), "Love, Pain & Marriage" (2022), "The Silent Intruder" (2024), "Under Wraps" (2024), and "Wild Obsession" (2025). He has collaborated with prominent Nollywood actors and actresses such as Uche Jombo, Ruth Kadiri, and Nancy Isime. He is also a producer and the CEO of 8402 Productions.
PERSONAL LIFE
Kachi Nnochiri is married to Kachi Ibe Nnochiri, an entrepreneur and owner of Hairbykay. They had a traditional wedding on November 9, 2013, and have children, though their personal lives are kept private. Nnochiri is also a fitness enthusiast.
