When Hearts Align

The movie "When Hearts Align" starts in an office. Star gives a file to her boss Justice. Suddenly Jennifer, his girlfriend, rushes in and slaps Star. Star falls unconscious. Justice shouts at Jennifer and carries Star out. Later on the street, Star drops her grocery bags. An old woman named Mama helps her. Star helps Mama carry her bags home. Justice arrives and it turns out Mama is his mother. Star asks Justice to increase a worker’s salary. Mama is impressed by Star. Mama calls Justice and says she found the perfect wife for him. Justice says he has Jennifer. Mama calls Jennifer a “bulldog” and does not want her. Star comes for a job interview at Justice’s company. Jennifer sees her and demands Justice fire Star. Justice refuses and says he hires by ability. Mama visits and tells Justice that Jennifer is not good for him. Justice defends her but Mama is unhappy. Later Mama falls sick. Star takes care of her every day. Justice sees Star’s kindness. He tells Mama that Jennifer is toxic and he wants to marry Star instead. Mama is very happy. Jennifer gives Justice coffee. He spits it out and suspects something bad. At home he tells Jennifer it is over and asks her to leave. Justice goes to Mama’s house with flowers. He kneels and proposes to Star. She accepts happily. They kiss. The movie ends with everyone celebrating the engagement.
