Tides Of Destiny

In Tides of Destiny, Deborah arrives at Felix’s Lagos mansion in a wheelchair seeking the support money he stopped sending after his negligence caused her accident. Felix rejects her at the gate, insults her disability, and refuses entry. Her driver Emeka pushes the gate open and helps her inside, where she demands a room and declares she will not leave until she is settled. Once inside, Deborah bonds with Myra, helping her schoolwork and restoring her confidence. She also uses her marketing skill to revive Felix’s failing food and beverage company, and Sandra grows hostile, assaults Deborah, and schemes to force her out. Felix begins to recognize Deborah's value and confronts his own failures as a father and partner. Later Sandra launches a brutal attack on Deborah and threatens her life. Felix intervenes, physically removing Sandra from the house. The attack leaves Deborah shaken but determined. Overwhelmed by the toxicity and her growing feelings for Felix, Deborah decides to leave, but Myra pleads with her to stay, revealing how much Felix has changed. Felix then confesses he loves Deborah, has arranged corrective surgery for her legs, and proposes marriage, asking her to give him a chance. Then Deborah undergoes successful surgery and, surrounded by friends and family, takes her first steps, and Felix formally proposes with a ring and she accepts joyfully. The film ends with their engagement celebration, Deborah walking again, and the household united in celebration. Friends and family cheer as the couple shares a toast to their future.
