Osas arrives in a modest Lagos neighborhood with an air of superiority and immediately clashes with her neighbor Clarissa when she rejects a friendly greeting. She lives with her boyfriend Kene, a loving man whose car frequently breaks down and whose income cannot match her growing appetite for luxury. Osas resents their poverty so deeply that she refuses intimacy, declaring fornication in poverty the greater sin, and berates Kene daily for his inability to provide luxury. She begins performing class with cheap perfume, a feigned British accent, and charcoal face masks while secretly chatting on Instagram with a wealthy stranger named Drew who promises to visit. When she discovers a flirtatious text from Drew on Kene's phone, she accuses Kene of cheating and ends their relationship, declaring she has found classy and rich love. Kene leaves heartbroken, and Osas soon faces a crisis at work when her boss demands repayment of 300,000 naira under threat of arrest. Desperate, she falsely accuses Kene of stealing her savings, prompting his final departure. Later Clarissa, who is revealed to be extorting a married lover for money, loans Osas the 300,000 naira to settle the debt. The two women form an unlikely bond as Clarissa teaches Osas elocution and gifts her designer samples, though Clarissa soon announces she is moving to a wealthier area for business. With her debt paid but her relationship destroyed, Osas hits rock bottom. Kene unexpectedly reappears and reveals he has been quietly completing her bride price despite their breakup. He confronts Osas in a car, demanding zero tolerance for drama but admitting he misses her. Osas, humbled and grateful, accepts his proposal. The moment mirrors their earlier car trouble when the vehicle fails to start. Osas jokingly offers to push, but Kene refuses and reiterates his promise that his wife will never push a car.
