The Man Who Sold His Skin
Sam Ali, a sensitive and impulsive young Syrian man, is forced to flee his home country for Lebanon after an innocent, passionate public marriage proposal on a train is radically misinterpreted as political rebellion. While hiding out in Beirut, he learns that the love of his life, Abeer, has been pressured into marrying a wealthy Syrian diplomat and moving to Brussels. Stranded without legal documents, a passport, or a visa, Sam meets Jeffrey Godefroi—a notoriously provocative contemporary artist.

Storyline
Jeffrey offers him a literal Faustian bargain: in exchange for luxury travel, a comfortable lifestyle, and immediate legal passage to Europe, Sam must allow his back to be tattooed with an immaculate, detailed Schengen visa. By turning his skin into a living piece of million-dollar artwork, Sam finally bypasses legal borders, only to realize that commodifying his physical body has systematically stripped away his human rights, personal autonomy, and dignity.
