Talking Thomas

The story begins with Thomas, a man who loves to talk and cannot keep any secret. His habit quickly destroys his job and causes serious fights in his neighborhood. His wife grows very tired of his loud mouth and gives him a final warning. To change himself, Thomas visits a local pastor who claims a bad spirit controls his words. This first religious leader puts strong glue on Thomas lips and orders him to fast without food or water for seven days. The painful method fails, and Thomas continues to gossip. Soon after, he suddenly loses his voice completely. A doctor checks him and finds no physical problem, but a second pastor steps in. This new leader claims a dark spell silenced him and leads a loud prayer to break it. The prayer works, and Thomas speaks again. But his old habit returns instantly. He immediately shouts that the second pastor had secretly told his wife their children are not biologically hers. This new secret shatters their marriage once more. Thomas finally understands how dangerous his tongue really is. He cries, begs his wife for mercy, and promises to stop visiting fake churches. He agrees to get medical help instead. His wife forgives him, but warns that one more slip will end their life together. In the end, Talking Thomas Part 1 shows how gossip can break trust, and why learning to stay quiet is the only way to save your home.
