Jessica and Kimora live together, and their daily rhythm is easy until Jessica starts at a new corporate office. A handsome boss, Mr. Felix, comes from Abuja, and Jessica is sure she has found love. She tells her friend Chloe as much. Kimora is still hurting from a breakup with her ex-boyfriend Dave, so she watches her sister's excitement without sharing it. To win Felix's attention, Jessica fakes a sprained ankle and stays home. He sends a colleague to check on her, then visits personally with gifts. He discovers Kimora likes the same legal thrillers he does, particularly the books of John Grisham, and their conversations continue. Jessica reads his kindness as courtship and ignores the connection forming under her roof. Felix invites both women to a movie screening and a party thrown by his cousin. At the party, he tells Kimora plainly that he loves her. Kimora refuses him, saying she will not hurt Jessica. When Jessica finds out, she feels betrayed and fights with Kimora until she moves out. Felix apologizes to Jessica and admits his visits were meant to get close to her sister. Kimora shuts herself away, split between her feelings and her loyalty. Time apart and quiet reflection bring the sisters back to each other. Jessica realizes she loved the idea of Felix, not the man himself, and she gives Kimora and Felix her blessing. She also accepts Felix's apology as an honest mistake. With that settled, Felix finally understands that Jessica is the woman whose sincerity and persistence won his heart. He gets down on one knee and proposes, and she joyfully accepts.
