Efe grows irritated as he waits at home for his adult sister, Lisa. His wife Grace tells him to calm down, but Efe says Lisa has no business being outside late at night. Lisa returns after midnight, and Efe confronts her. That night he rebuffs Grace, who asks why she must beg for affection. In Siblings, Efe's marriage is strained by his obsessive attention to Lisa. Lisa gets an NYSC posting to Port Harcourt, and Efe refuses to let her serve outside the state and offers to buy her a car. He tells a shocked Grace that Lisa is his only sister and he wants to make up for the love their late parents could not give her. A planned cinema trip with Grace becomes a trip with Lisa, so Grace refuses and tells her friend Benita that Efe makes her feel unwanted. Grace catches Efe and Lisa kissing on the couch and flees to Benita's house, where Efe and Lisa follow to beg for forgiveness. Benita forces them to confess. Their relationship began in their teens after a lonely, strictly controlled childhood in a large estate, and an experiment after watching adult movies became impossible to stop. Grace says she cannot return home. Under Benita's pressure, they agree to therapy and to Lisa moving out before Grace comes back. Lisa then collapses, and Efe rushes her to the hospital, where a doctor says she is three weeks pregnant. Efe says the child is his, but Lisa insists it is not, says there is someone else, and declares she no longer wants to be his secret lover. She threatens to walk away from his life. Efe refuses to let her go and threatens violence against any other man. Grace hears the news at Benita's home, breaks down, and says Lisa has destroyed everything. The marriage is broken, and the unborn child's fate is unresolved. In the final images, as the credits appear, remorseful apologies are exchanged on a staircase.
