Sibe Episode 6 The Dispatch Rider

The events of Sibe Episode 6 The Dispatch Rider begin after Sibe Stella loses her IT job; she is still upset on a Lagos street when a sharply dressed stranger, Bola Pepple, interrupts her conversation with a plantain seller and slips her his business card. The next day, she follows the card to Pepple's upscale home, where his boss introduces her as 'our new catch' and hires her as a dispatch rider for Zoom Logistics. The job pays 100,000 naira per delivery, and although Sibe feels uneasy about using what she calls her 'shining glory' for such work, she accepts excitedly. Her first stop is an elderly woman who tips her in dollars, and her second, a spa, yields a thick stack of cash from a satisfied client. With that money, Sibe checks into a luxury hotel, buys an expensive room, and is enjoying the pool when she falls into the water and gets rescued by Ben, a charming man who invites her to a rooftop dinner. Over drinks, she describes herself as a hardworking hustler with many trades; he tells her he works for an oil company, and the conversation turns lively and flirtatious. While Sibe enjoys that success, a man kneels before Pepple and another boss, begging for mercy after being accused of betrayal. Pepple strikes him and questions his loyalty, then orders him to leave. The pattern of suspicion continues when a gunman enters Pepple's room, points a gun at the boss, and accuses him of betrayal; the older man in red demands an explanation, but the boss remains calm and continues talking on the phone. Sibe, already on her way to the next delivery, gets into a scuffle with two men over the package, frees herself, and reaches the assigned house to find the gate open. Hearing shouting from inside, she realizes something is wrong, yet she decides to go in and hand over her package anyway. She steps through the gate toward the front of the house, ready to complete the delivery, just as the gunman inside threatens to kill everyone.
