Selina

Sekina sells food on the street and struggles to collect small debts from customers. She dreams of opening a bigger restaurant, so she accepts a housekeeping and cooking job arranged by Aunty B at the urging of her friend Angel. She arrives at the home of Reuben and his girlfriend Ima. Ima doubts her skills, but Sekina adopts the name Selina and settles in. In Selina, her early days are full of mistakes. She ruins a stir-fry and mistakes the Alexa speaker for a ghost, but Reuben appreciates her hard work and good heart. Ima befriends Selina and confides in her, but then Selina accidentally sees Ima kissing another man, Sukky. Ima begs her to keep the secret, and Selina agrees. Reuben grows closer to Selina and gives her time off to visit her brother Shola. Reuben overhears Selina and Ima talking about the betrayal, and he confronts Ima and ends the relationship. Ima moves out, and Selina stays on as Reuben's housekeeper. One day, while shopping, Reuben introduces Selina as his housekeeper to an acquaintance. The introduction hurts her, so Selina feels disrespected and decides to return to her village. She packs her belongings and leaves despite Reuben's apologies. After she leaves, Reuben realizes he has fallen in love with Selina. A friend encourages him to pursue her, so he travels to her village and finds her hanging laundry. He asks her to be his girlfriend, and Selina is moved by his sincerity and accepts, and they embrace.
