Selina and Reuben settle into their new home, where Reuben showers her with affection and insists she avoid housework. Her friend Angel urges her to exploit Reuben for his money, but Selina rejects the advice and sends her away. Reuben takes Selina out, feeds her, and agrees to fund cooking school so she can open a restaurant. She enrolls at chef school. There, Ifeanyi shows romantic interest and proposes a business partnership, but she gently declines. Reuben gives a ride to Jummy but remains devoted to Selina. Reuben's sister Nora arrives from Abuja and treats Selina with contempt, assuming she is the maid. Reuben corrects her, revealing Selina is his girlfriend, and Nora is furious. Nora privately offers Selina money to leave her brother, but Selina refuses. Nora begins sabotaging Selina, accusing her of putting stones in her food, smashing her phone, and stirring conflicts. Reuben defends Selina and forces Nora to apologize. Reuben's friend Femi aggressively pursues Selina's friend Angel and blackmails Angel's friend Injal, threatening to expose her past. Reuben confronts Femi, warning him to stay away from Angel. Reuben sees Selina in a comforting embrace with Ifeanyi and confronts her, admitting his jealousy. Selina promises to avoid such contact, but the constant hostility from Nora and from Reuben's social circle leaves her feeling humiliated and unwelcome. Then she ends the relationship and leaves.
