Permission To Break Up

In the film "Permission To Break Up", Lola is a vlogger who jokes about burning pancakes in the kitchen while Dayo, her caring boyfriend, supports her no matter what. But Lola feels bored in their stable relationship and tells her friend Dami she wants to break up because there's no chaos or butterflies anymore. Dami thinks she's mad to leave a good guy like Dayo who is faithful and kind. Lola tries to end it, but Dayo says no and challenges her: make him hate her in one month, like he worked to make her love him. If she does, he gives permission to leave. Lola agrees and starts "Operation: Make Dayo Hate Lola" with Dami's help. First, she comes late to dinner in a flashy dress, ignores him, and orders expensive food. Dayo stays calm. Then, she crashes his football night with friends, wears skimpy clothes, spills wine on his shirt, and acts clingy. Friends leave, but Dayo just cleans up without anger. Next, she invites his ex, Sophie, to dinner without telling him. Dayo is shocked but polite. Lola says she was being friendly, but it hurts him. Still, he won't break up. She tries boring him by changing her vlogs to dull topics like architecture. But Dayo supports her and even shares his old designs. After weeks, Lola gets sick with a bad headache. Dami helps her, and Lola realizes she misses Dayo. She sees that calm love is real, not chaos, and she was scared because she felt she didn't deserve it. Lola goes to Dayo to stop the game and say sorry. But Dayo, looking tired and hurt, says she won. She broke him, made him doubt himself. He gives permission to leave and closes the door, saying he'd rather she be happy elsewhere. Lola knocks again, explains she was scared of quiet love but now wants the forever kind. She begs to prove her love. Dayo, touched, opens the door. They hug and kiss. The end shows them in bed, Lola trying a vlog, but Dayo stops her playfully, and they cuddle back to normal.
