In a dusty village, Tom Tom slaps a neighbor and demands fees from local boys. A driver named Luke arrives in a white minivan claiming her father sent him. She accuses him of kidnapping but relents when he proves he knows her father. At a luxurious mansion, she meets her father, a wealthy man who wears dark sunglasses and carries a cane while pretending to be blind. His assistant Luke and a new nanny named Faith are also present. Tom Tom mocks his disability and vows to make him suffer for abandoning her. She overeats chicken until she falls violently ill, and Faith nurses her through the night. Soon after, Tom Tom manipulates her father into a street begging scheme with a sign declaring him blind, deaf, and dumb. The father uncovers her deception and confronts her in the living room immediately. The father removes his sunglasses and reveals he has never been blind. He admits he feigned the condition to win her pity after years of absence. Tom Tom cries out in betrayal and recounts every prank she played on his supposed blindness. He offers her a heartfelt apology and asks the two of them for a fresh start. As they reconcile, the father proposes to Faith, and Tom Tom orchestrates the kneeling and the ring. The proposal moment utterly transforms the room's heavy tension into a joyful engagement. Faith happily accepts the marriage proposal amid much laughter and many balloons. The new family dynamic solidifies over a shared meal where they eat together. They sing a pidgin refrain about resilience and exchange affectionate teasing. The film ends with the three of them seated in the living room. The father no longer hides behind sunglasses, and Tom Tom calls him Daddy. They embrace their chaotic but loving future as a genuinely brand new family.
