EARLY LIFE

Omolara Kowoti was born and raised in Nigeria, with strong cultural roots in the southwestern region. From an early age, she developed a deep appreciation for the Yoruba language and traditional storytelling, which naturally guided her passion for the performing arts. While she has kept the specifics of her childhood and formal educational background out of the media spotlight, her fluent command of the Yoruba language has been instrumental in her success in indigenous cinema.

Omolara Kowoti is a fast-rising and dedicated actress within the Yoruba sector of the Nigerian film industry. She has steadily built a solid filmography, showcasing her ability to take on dynamic and versatile roles. Her notable films include, Maryam & Maryam 2 (2026), Olori Alase (2026), Wetin Women Want (2018), Ika Leeyan, Ajumobi, Sweet Vengeance, and the web series Our Apartment. Beyond acting, Omolara has expanded her footprint in the industry by taking on the role of a Film Producer. She has spearheaded and produced her own movie projects, allowing her to tell authentic stories while creating opportunities for other actors and crew members.
