Sister Mi

The film opens with a family prayer led by Enitan, the eldest sibling who has shouldered responsibility for her younger brother Lekan and sister Nike since their parents died. Lekan, an aspiring musician, owes studio fees to Tony and secretly takes Enitan's car for recording sessions. Nike, a corps member, constantly requests transport money despite receiving a stipend. Their married sister Jumoke visits and reveals her husband Abayomi borrowed from loan sharks for a dubious contract. Enitan's car breaks down and she hails an Uber driven by Daniel, an accountant forced into ride-hailing after his company folded. A connection sparks between them and Daniel soon moves in as a guest after his landlord harasses him. Then Enitan discovers her gold jewelry box missing. Enitan confronts Nike and Lekan and threatens police involvement. Lekan confesses he pawned the jewelry to fund his music promotion, triggering a violent outburst from Enitan. Meanwhile Chinedu, Nike's boyfriend, pressures her for ten million naira to join a cooperative scheme promising quick returns. Desperate, Nike conspires with Lekan to steal five million from Enitan's account and transfers it to Chinedu. When Enitan's siblings viciously insult Daniel, calling him a houseboy and womanizer, she erupts and orders Nike and Lekan to pack and leave immediately. Jumoke pleads for mercy but Enitan stands firm, citing years of sacrifice since their parents' death. Enitan then confronts the siblings with proof of the theft. Nike defiantly claims the money was an investment in her future with Chinedu, who she insists will marry her. Enitan reveals the deeper betrayal: they framed Daniel for the theft to cover their tracks. As Enitan threatens jail, Nike and Lekan kneel begging forgiveness and promising repayment. Lekan admits he has not yet spent his share of the stolen money. Nike vows to retrieve the funds from Chinedu as soon as possible.
