One Day One Trouble

Silas and Janet live in poverty, their marriage marred by constant fights that turn physical. While working as a laborer, Silas meets Kimi, a wealthy woman, after a dispute with a shopkeeper. She offers him a job cleaning her house in 'One Day One Trouble,' and Silas accepts, hoping to improve his situation. Meanwhile, Kimi is betrayed by her boyfriend Henry, who lies that he is her brother and takes a loan using her as a guarantor and disappears. Silas and Kimi grow close as they confide their struggles. Janet discovers Silas's job and confronts Kimi, accusing her of stealing Silas. Silas is furious with Janet, but later Janet tries to reconcile using the money Kimi gave Silas. Henry returns and tries to manipulate Kimi again, but she throws him out permanently. The film ends with Silas drinking at a pub, bragging about his wealth. Janet tracks him down and causes a scene, demanding he come home. Their toxic cycle of conflict and brief reconciliation remains unresolved.
