My Mother Is A Witch

My mother is a witch, a film Written and directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, it potrays a complex relationship between a mother (Adesuwa) and her enstranged daughter .(Imuetiyan) she works with a fashion magazine company in UK, Imuetiyan was tricked into returning home by doctor Ayo telling her about the demise of her mother with a video of her mother (Adesuwa) begging her to come give her a befitting burial. Imuetiyan seeing the video without an ioter of feeling, but decides to come home, on her arrival she gets severely offended when her supposed dead mother comes to greet her, unraveling past trauma as she reflects on the cruel treatment she got from her mother as a teenager.
