Money Game

In the film "Money Game," Steve, a mechanical engineer reduced to working as a mechanic, lives in poverty with his girlfriend Anita. After accidentally splashing water on wealthy Cheryl, Steve receives 100,000 naira from her. Anita sees an opportunity and pressures Steve to pursue a romantic relationship with Cheryl to extract more money. Despite his reluctance, Steve begins dating Cheryl, who falls for him and secures him a job at her father's company. Meanwhile, Anita poses as Steve's sister to get closer to Cheryl, receiving lavish gifts and money. As Steve spends more time with Cheryl, he develops genuine feelings for her, creating tension with Anita. Anita demands Steve ask Cheryl for larger sums, including 3 million naira for a fake medical emergency, which Cheryl provides immediately. When Anita catches Steve kissing Cheryl, she confronts him and he admits he has fallen in love with Cheryl. Devastated, Anita threatens that if she cannot have Steve, no one will. Steve later goes to Cheryl's house to confess the truth about the scheme. Heartbroken, Cheryl initially rejects him but eventually allows him to explain. Steve and Cheryl reconcile and plan their wedding. Still bitter, Anita confronts them at a restaurant but instead of violence, slides an envelope across the table. Later, Cheryl meets Anita in a car and offers her 40 million naira to start a business, which Anita accepts. Steve is shocked but relieved. The film ends with Steve and Cheryl happily together, looking forward to their future.
