Storyline
Madam Faya runs a canteen in Lagos with her staff Emem and her daughter Chinaza. In Madam Firewood, a lawyer serves a quit notice from her landlord, tired of late rent. That night, her husband Papa Chinaza returns late and scolds her for locking him out. He belittles her for giving him only one daughter and mocks the name Chinaza. Madam Faya counts her hidden savings and is determined to keep the canteen alive. The lawyer offers a contract with installments but a 20% penalty, and she signs, unaware he plans to evict her and keep the penalty. At home, she finds the savings missing, and Papa Chinaza admits taking them to spend on himself. Chinaza confronts her mother about enabling him, and police officer Tunde, who is courting Madam Faya, advises her to leave him. She refuses, fearing gossip. When Chinaza is seen in Chuka's car, Abacha, Papa Chinaza's friend, accuses Chuka of improper advances and Madam Faya of selling her daughter. Abacha threatens Chuka and humiliates Madam Faya at the canteen. Then Chinaza goes missing, and Madam Faya searches with Tunde's help. Chinaza is found safe, and Tunde reassures her the accusations were false. With seven days left, Madam Faya and her staff plan a 'One Last Meal' event so customers can pay in advance for their final meals. As the canteen prepares for its final day, Tunde shows Madam Faya his police retirement letter and says he wants to resign because of her. She begs him not to and insists she will stand by him either way. He agrees not to submit it, and their bond strengthens. The canteen team collects a notebook of customer meal requests, which signals a bittersweet farewell.
