EARLY LIFE
Ruby Ojiakor is the fifth of six children and hails from Imo State, Nigeria. Her primary and secondary education took place in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. She attended the Institute of Management and Technology in Enugu.
CAREER
A Nollywood actress, producer, and dancer, Ruby Ojiakor is known for her roles in films such as War Soldiers, Shattered Emotions, Pot of Money, My True Love, and Bloody Sin. She started her acting career as a choreographer for the dance film 'Let's Dance', where she starred alongside Mercy Johnson and Patience Ozokwor. She has been nominated for Nigeria's Most Promising Actress at the City People Entertainment Awards and has secured several endorsement deals. She is known for her stance against acting nude or showing vital body parts, and once lost a movie role for refusing sexual advances from a marketer.

Ruby Ojiakor has a significant online presence, with over 1.6 million followers on her TikTok account, ruby_ojiakor, and a popular Instagram page under the same handle. She was romantically linked to actor Golden Ara, and together they welcomed a daughter, Princess Royalty Somtochukwu, in 2015. She currently resides in Asaba, Delta State.
