We Are Pregnant

In We Are Pregnant, Marvin sets up a romantic anniversary surprise, but Karen comes home distraught after five years of marriage without a child. Marvin dismisses her anxiety, so Karen proposes surrogacy and asks her younger sister Nora to carry the child. Nora is shocked and reluctant, and her possessive boyfriend Dave turns violent and forbids it. Marvin and Karen pay Dave three million naira to stay away for eighteen months, and Nora undergoes artificial insemination. The implantation succeeds, and Nora moves in with Marvin and Karen, who pamper her with gifts and attention. Pregnancy advances, but Nora grows agitated because she has not been touched in seven months. Her friend Uju encourages her to seduce Marvin, yet he refuses and calls her his sister-in-law. Nora drugs his drink and gets him into bed, and Karen discovers them, which sets off a furious confrontation. Nora gives an ultimatum, marry her or she aborts the child.
