Love Reborn

In 1996, David Njoku is killed in a staged car accident, his oil company Key Oil and Gas left to his grieving widow Lisa. Twenty-eight years later, a young man named David Essie survives a similar crash and wakes with fragmented memories of that past life—recalling his marriage to Lisa and the codes to a bank vault containing company documents. Ignoring his friend Kehinde's skepticism, David retrieves the files, startling bank staff with secret knowledge only the deceased could have. Hiring on as Lisa's personal assistant after reciting David Njoku's mantra—'In life, never stop. Always forward'—he finds Key Oil's accounts drained by embezzlement. Lisa doubts him, but David presses on, uncovering a recording that proves her husband's business partner, J.J. Okuoha, ordered the murder. Meanwhile, Charles, a family friend and J.J.'s son, plots with his father to have David seduce Lisa until she signs over control, then dispose of him. David and Lisa grow close, sharing a kiss despite her hesitation about their age difference and his subordinate role. Gathering evidence, David alerts the police, and they set a trap: Lisa feigns agreement to sign over the company, and when J.J. arrives to finalize the deal, officers arrest him as the recording plays. Charles, who helped orchestrate the sting, is cleared of wrongdoing, leaving Lisa shattered by the truth. Afterward, David confesses he escaped a psychiatric ward where he was held for his past-life claims. Lisa asks for time, but a letter arrives with handwriting matching her late husband's, written in the same hand as love notes from years ago. They meet in the rain, where David insists he is David Njoku reborn. Lisa accepts him, and their embrace bridges two lifetimes.
