Shade, a successful businesswoman, is confronted by her father, Chief Olarewaju, who pressures her to marry because the company's CEO position requires a married candidate. Revealing he has only three months to live, he convinces her to secure the family legacy. Reluctantly, Shade marries her personal assistant, Dammy, in a small ceremony, insisting it is a paper marriage. She treats him coldly, forbidding him from eating at her dining table and relegating him to the BQ. Dammy, who had been engaged to Adesuwa, struggles with the arrangement. Complications arise when Shade's ex-boyfriend Adewale returns from a mistaken-identity imprisonment in Germany, rekindling their relationship. A video surfaces of Shade denying her marriage to Adewale, causing a scandal at a board meeting. Dammy defends the marriage as authentic, revealing that Mr. Amos was scheming to become CEO. The board accepts their marriage, and Shade realizes her feelings for Dammy, apologizing for her harsh treatment. They reconcile and begin a genuine relationship. Shade and Dammy grow closer, sharing a romantic moment. Meanwhile, Adesuwa obtains a scholarship to study in the USA and meets Dammy to say goodbye, forgiving him. The film ends with Shade and Dammy together, happy and in love.
