EARLY LIFE

Hydra Aneme, born Victor Ifeanyi Aneme on June 18, 1990, in Kaduna (Kaduna South LGA, Badikko), hails from Ngor Okpala in Imo State, Nigeria. He is of Igbo ethnicity and was raised in a Christian family. He attended Cherphem Nursery and Primary School and Yisheng Schools in Kaduna. He obtained a Diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Jos (2007–2008) and graduated with a B.Sc in Mass Communication (Second Class Lower) from Caritas University, Enugu, in 2013. He completed his NYSC in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, in 2015, after which he relocated to Lagos to pursue a career in entertainment.

Hydra Aneme has a daughter and maintains a private personal life regarding his relationship status and the mother of his child. He is a practicing Christian, stands at 5'10" (178 cm), and currently resides in Lagos, where he owns a house and car. Hydra Aneme is a Nigerian actor, producer, former rapper, and entrepreneur popularly known as "The Range Actor" and "Big Range" for his versatility across genres. He started as a rapper under the name Hydra Chukwu and released several songs between 2006 and 2020, including Agbalagba, Yayaneh, and Transaction (featuring Skales). In 2015, he transitioned fully into acting after moving to Lagos. Since then, he has featured in numerous Nollywood films and TV series, often playing lead and supporting roles.
