Storyline

Fred and Tamara, Ken and Maureen, and Chuks and Tiny arrive at a Lagos retreat under court order to decide their marriages in 'Lets Switch Wives,' greeted by Dr. Judge who explains his role is to help couples who have chosen separation, though he hopes for peace. Assigned to share rooms with their estranged spouses, the couples immediately face tension: Fred, a devout Christian, begins praying and fasting, irritating Tamara who accuses him of emotional neglect; Ken and Maureen maintain a cold distance, barely speaking except for bitter remarks; Chuks and Tiny argue about money, with Tiny frustrated by Chuks's insecurity over her higher income and his failed business investment that lost her father's house. Retreat activities like ATV rides and beach volleyball offer temporary distraction but do little to address the underlying resentments. The structured couples counseling sessions force them to interact, leading to unexpected vulnerability. During a group session, Tamara reveals she has been taking antidepressants and blames Fred's neglect. Later, after a prayer meeting pushes her to her limit, she breaks down privately, confessing she suffered a uterine prolapse after childbirth and cannot have more children, and that Fred refused a blood transfusion during a medical emergency that endangered their child. Fred is devastated and falls to his knees, begging for forgiveness. Ken confronts Maureen about her past rejections, and she admits she never stopped loving him but was afraid; they reconcile physically that night. Chuks and Tiny argue bitterly in the parking lot, where Tiny accuses him of competing with her, and Chuks confesses he almost committed suicide because of his failures. The couples also observe each other and sometimes switch roommates to create peace, as Dr. Judge facilitates group discussions. At the final group dinner, Fred publicly apologizes to Tamara, kneeling and suggesting they could adopt children.
