Storyline
Let Love Cook is a funny yet emotional Nigerian movie. It starts with Izu and his two friends eating at an outdoor eatery. Suddenly, an older woman working there shouts at Izu, accuses him of touching her, and slaps him many times. Izu is confused and angry but does not hit back. At home, his friends laugh about it instead of supporting him. Izu gets very upset and wants revenge. Later, the truth comes out. The whole scene was planned by Sommy, a girl Izu liked, and his own friends. They did it for a 500,000 Naira bet to test if Izu would hit a woman when provoked. Feeling betrayed, Izu returns to the eatery and behaves very rudely. He throws money at the woman and treats her badly. He then confronts Sommy, throws water on her, and tells her he never wants to see her again. Three years later, Sommy feels guilty and calls Izu. She meets him and sincerely apologizes. But Izu is cold and says he has moved on. He leaves her heartbroken. After thinking, Izu changes his mind. He visits Sommy with flowers, apologizes for his harsh words, and they forgive each other. The movie ends with them sharing a warm hug. Let Love Cook is a story about friendship, betrayal, and the power of forgiveness.
