At a luxury beach resort, celebrity Flora's birthday celebration in "In My Bed" is overshadowed by her boyfriend Body, who asserts control by forcing her to cancel a cab and demand a car from her cousin, then criticizing her dinner outfit. Body's possessiveness turns transactional when resort owner Mercedes offers him 7 million Naira for a dinner with Flora—a transaction that underscores the commodification of Flora's celebrity. Accepting without her knowledge, Body manipulates Flora into attending, where Mercedes reveals he is a devoted fan whose life she saved through her acting. Mercedes offers Flora a contract to become the resort's face, which she accepts, causing Body's jealousy to fester. On Flora's birthday, Body gifts her a car but, while she is out, sleeps with another woman named Elisa in their room. Flora returns early, catches them, and confronts Body, who defends his cheating as natural male behavior. Devastated, she ends their relationship, rejecting his apologies. Later, Body visits Flora and Mercedes, acknowledging Mercedes as a better man and leaving the resort.
