Her Sister's Choice

The film Her Sister's Choice is about two sisters Chioma and Ebere who live in a poor neighborhood. Chioma is the older sister. She sells food in the market and works very hard. She gives everything so Ebere can get good education. The story starts with Chioma counting money to pay for Ebere's NYSC. She promises her sister will not struggle like her. The other market women laugh at Chioma for staying single. They tell her to find a rich man. But Chioma believes in dignity and hard work. Ebere gets pregnant by her poor boyfriend Ibrahim. He denies the baby and leaves her because of money problems. Ebere is very sad. A rough man named Okoro tries to date Chioma. She insults him and chases him away in public. Okoro feels hurt and makes a bet with his friends. He says he can make Chioma fall for him in three months. To win the bet Okoro steals his boss's clothes jewelry and luxury car. He comes back as Chief a rich businessman. He parks at the market makes fake calls to famous rich people and says he bought the market but saved it because he loves Chioma. Chioma believes the wealth. She accepts his fake ring leaves her shop and moves to the big mansion. She enjoys the rich life bosses the fake staff and dreams of a big wedding. But the lie breaks when Okoro says his business crashed. A ship sank and the bank is taking the house. They must run back to the slums. Chioma cries hard. Then the real boss returns and catches them. The friends tell everything. Okoro is only the cook and the love was just a bet to tame the proud market woman. Chioma is humiliated and returns to her poor life. In the end she tells Ebere she is pregnant by the fake rich man. Okoro comes in normal clothes. He says sorry and promises to work hard for the baby. Chioma sees her greed put her in the same trouble she tried to save her sister from.
