Groomed For Love
Ruth, a devout orphan raised by the church, receives the Pastors' Wives Association blessing to marry Kachi, a strict and judgmental pastor. In Groomed For Love, their engagement lays bare the fractured bond between Kachi and his half-brother Arnold, a tattooed photographer who drinks and wears earrings. Their father, desperate for unity, forces Arnold to escort Ruth from Enugu to Lagos for traditional wedding preparations. The trip becomes a clash of faith and temperament: Ruth prays constantly and condemns Arnold's darkness, while Arnold mocks her rigidity yet steadies her. Will they learn to accommodate each other?

Storyline
In Groomed For Love, Ruth has grown up in the church, an orphan raised on prayer and the approval of the Pastors' Wives Association, and that approval now seals her engagement to Kachi, a pastor whose faith wears like armor. Kachi and his half-brother Arnold have spent years circling each other with silence and judgment — Arnold photographs weddings with tattoos climbing his arms and an earring catching the light, and he does not hide his drinking. Their father, worn thin by the distance between his sons, orders Arnold to bring Ruth from Enugu to Lagos for the traditional wedding preparations. The drive south turns into a slow collision: Ruth prays at every stop and calls Arnold's life darkness, refuses to share a room and will not miss a service, and Arnold laughs at her stiffness but still buys her food when she forgets to eat and steps between her and a predatory stranger at a hotel bar. At the family house Kachi greets Ruth with doctrine instead of warmth, forbids any touch and bars her from speaking to Arnold, whom he names a carnal unbeliever. The father, watching the coldness, coaches Ruth to stage a fake rape so she can see whether Kachi will choose her or his reputation. Kachi chooses the church — he calls off the wedding the same hour, citing the threat to his standing rather than any fear for Ruth. The father then reveals the ruse, and the shame of it drives Arnold to confront Kachi in a raw exchange that cracks years of resentment. The brothers forgive each other, and Kachi admits Ruth deserves better than he gave her, handing Arnold his blessing to pursue her. Arnold finds Ruth packing her bags to leave, and he tells her he has loved her since the road trip, asks her to stay. Ruth sees the truth of it — the way he fed her and shielded her and never once used scripture as a weapon — and she accepts, knowing he has shown her the Christ-like love Kachi only preached. They kiss and hold each other as the film ends.
