Amara, a cafe owner, shares a dream of financial freedom with her best friend Mide. When Mide's brother Junior returns to Nigeria, Mide is thrilled to have him walk her down the aisle. Amara meets Junior at her cafe when he comes to buy books, and they feel an instant attraction. They agree to a unique dating plan: meet every Friday at 8 PM without sharing personal information until the fifth date. As their dates blossom, Amara reveals she is writing a book titled 'A Little Piece of Heaven.' Mide grows suspicious when she learns Amara is dating Junior; she forbids the relationship, citing 'girl code.' Mide's own fiancé Tami pressures her to finalize wedding plans. In a fit of jealousy, Mide hires two women to harass Junior and plants underwear in his room, framing him for infidelity. Amara discovers the scheme but conceals it. Mide's plan backfires, causing a rift between her and Tami. During a family dinner, Mide exposes Amara's past as a stripper at a club called Victoria's. Junior defends Amara, but later confronts her, feeling betrayed. Amara reveals she only danced and never slept with anyone; she was actually an informant for a private investigator, helping shut down the club. Meanwhile, Tami learns that Mide also danced at Victoria's and calls off their wedding. Amara and Junior break up temporarily due to the lies and secrets. Mide eventually apologizes for her judgment, and the friends reconcile. Junior proposes to Amara in the cafe on the anniversary of their first date, with red balloons spelling 'MARRY ME.' Amara accepts. Later, Mide's friend Aremide receives a date invitation from a man, suggesting a new romantic possibility.
