Flatshare

Melissa, an Instagram influencer, meets Chima, a man trying to secure an apartment. In Flatshare, they agree to pose as a married couple in front of the landlord after bargaining over rent percentages and ownership. They move in, but their fake marriage brings no honeymoon. Melissa claims the master bedroom as her content studio, Chima calls it his, and they fight over space, chores, and rules. Their fights get personal. Melissa rips down the chore roster, cooks only for herself, and eats rice Chima marked 'Do Not Touch'. Chima calls her a fake influencer and a thief. When he spends a night with a girlfriend, Melissa rings a bell and shouts 'Repent!' at the bedroom door. She later tells the same girlfriend about his wandering habits and wrecks the relationship. An unhappy client named Ladybee shows up and demands the two million naira she paid for an Instagram advert that never aired. Chima's old friend Jason arrives to stay for a few days, and Melissa recognizes him as her ex-boyfriend. The reunion makes all three confront past feelings, but Melissa worries Chima is only being kind to get back at her. During a stroll, Melissa is hurt in a near-accident and injures her leg. Chima takes her home, brings meals, massages her leg, and stays with her. Their guard drops as they talk about past losses and heartbreaks, and their real affection shows. A former girlfriend of Chima appears at the apartment, begs his forgiveness, and tries to touch him. Chima rejects her firmly and refuses to let her insult Melissa, and he says the woman he loves is now Melissa. Once she is gone, Chima reassures Melissa he has eyes only for her, and Melissa says she loves him too. They decide to leave their old fights behind and enjoy the romance that grew from their flatshare.
