Storyline

Tony Dada is arrested at his home after police find the body of a woman he calls his wife, Chisom. He is taken in weeping that his wife is dead. During interrogation, Tony claims Chisom was abusive and that after an argument he blacked out and woke to find her dead. Detective Badmus reveals forensic evidence of strangulation. Boma, Chisom's ex-boyfriend, is questioned over threatening messages but insists he never harmed her. Badmus finds no marriage certificate, and neighbours say they never saw a wife, though one recalls screams from the house. A search finds no trace of a woman living there. Dr. Amina Akintunde, a consultant psychiatrist, assesses Tony. He alternates between personalities, including an elderly man and a condescending chemistry professor. Dr. Amina diagnoses dissociative identity disorder. Badmus suspects Tony is faking, but CSP Ogo approves transfer to a psychiatric facility. At the facility, Dr. Amina works with Tony, who appears to be improving. She overhears him mutter 'David, we finally got justice.' When she probes, Tony reveals that his twin brother David was wrongfully accused of killing a police officer during a protest and died in prison after a witness, Chisom Ezi, refused to speak up. Tony now admits he never had dissociative identity disorder, and he explains he studied the disorder and crafted multiple personalities to fool the staff. After David's death, he tracked down Chisom, seduced her online, and murdered her. He made it look like the killing of an abusive wife, wiped evidence, and called the police. Tony then threatens Dr. Amina, saying she signed off on his diagnosis and that exposing him would destroy her career. Tony gloats over his flawless plan and insists he will soon be discharged as a free man, but Dr. Amina realizes that Detective Badmus was right all along. She stares at him in shock as he thanks her for being an unwitting accomplice, confident that no evidence ties him to the crime.
