Effortlessly blending comedy and drama, Couple In Power follows Ego, a dedicated executive whose husband Efosa has spiraled into gambling addiction and shameless idleness. When Ego’s patience runs thin, she pressures him to earn a living, inadvertently revealing her own high-ranking corporate position. Seizing the opportunity, Efosa insists on becoming an errand boy at her company, dismissing her warnings about office conduct. Thrown into a structured environment, his flagrant incompetence and disrespect for hierarchy ignite friction with colleagues, culminating in a public kiss that triggers a sexual harassment complaint and costs Ego her job. Her decision to leave him, even after his mother’s pleading, shatters Efosa, driving him to his friend Emeka for help.
