Eddy, known as the jolly boy of Foster FM, comes home to Flora's sharp tongue. One evening, she insults the meal prepared by housekeeper Ella and accuses her of sleeping with Eddy. When Eddy defends Ella, Flora slaps him and walks out into the night. Soon after, neighbor Belinda throws herself at Eddy, but he refuses her advances each time. Spurned, Belinda stages a romantic scene, and when Eddy rejects her again, she cries assault, posting a video that brands him a rapist. The lie spreads like wildfire, and Eddy loses his job at Cloud 9. His friend Freddy doubts him, and Flora abandons him. Only Ella refuses to leave, her belief in him unwavering. She devises a plan: Eddy will pretend to give in to Belinda's demands for money and sex, but secretly record her confession. Eddy goes to Belinda's house, acting as if he wants to make things right. Flora comes crawling back, begging forgiveness, but Eddy tells her she taught him what he was missing. He turns to Ella, drops to one knee, and asks her to marry him. She says yes, tears streaming. The film ends with Eddy on the radio, his voice steady, sharing a quote about love. He signs off, his heart at peace, and walks into the arms of the woman who never stopped believing.
