Clean Heart

Alexis fumes in a parking lot after her car breaks down, but her mechanic Thomas never arrives. She later vents to her best friend Idia about losing a management position to Kanto, an outsider, and considers quitting; Idia urges her to fight instead. Meanwhile, Alexis's mother pressures her to accept a blind date, warning that she will end up like her late aunt who lived only for work. The blind date is with none other than Kanto, and they accuse each other of stalking. Pretending to be friendly, Alexis invites Kanto to dinner to gather intel on him. Over dinners and shared lunches, Alexis and Kanto rediscover that they knew each other as children, and genuine affection grows. When Alexis is hospitalized with appendicitis, Kanto stays by her bedside, deepening their bond. Idia warns Alexis not to hurt Kanto, but Alexis insists her feelings are real. Kanto's friend Louis remains suspicious of her sudden warmth. The fragile trust shatters when Kanto finds a voice note Alexis sent to the CEO, offering to prove Kanto unfit for the manager role within a month. He confronts her, devastated, and resigns from the company. Alexis is shattered and admits her original scheme but insists she fell in love. She apologizes repeatedly, and when she says she would give up the position a hundred times to be with him, Kanto softens. They reconcile with a kiss, reaffirming their love. Kanto jokes that he needs his job back because he is broke, and they laugh together, embracing as they prepare to rebuild both their relationship and their careers.
