Big Joe

Michael relies on Big Joe, also called Ukeme, to run his busy house. Big Joe cooks, cleans, and guards the gate. When a rat trap Big Joe made catches a female companion's foot, Michael settles the dispute and leaves on a trip. His car breaks down on the road, and he meets Susan, a mobile mechanic whose skill impresses him. Michael's younger sister Mimi arrives asking for sponsorship for a school excursion abroad. Lami, a woman from a one-night stand, moves in and insists she is Michael's wife. Michael starts dating Susan, but her flawless nature makes him suspicious. He confides in Big Joe that he fears she is with him for the wrong reasons. Overwhelmed, Michael retreats and orders Big Joe to say he is traveling or renovating. Susan confronts Michael, hurt and confused by the lie. He admits he was scared of her perfection, but she dismisses the excuse and tells him to stay away. Big Joe brings flowers on Michael's behalf, but Susan remains angry. Lami still refuses to leave the house. A woman Big Joe impregnated shows up, and Michael reveals that Big Joe already has four wives. Big Joe faces his own scandal as he tries to hold the household together. At a restaurant, a man makes a grand romantic speech with roses. A pilot steps forward and proposes to Susan, and she joyfully accepts. Michael comes to terms with Susan's engagement. Ukeme continues his chaotic service. Lami shouts for Michael from behind the locked gate and refuses to let go.
