The film opens in a corporate boardroom where Jamil, the entitled son of company chairman Chief Onos, storms in demanding to know why his funding request was denied. He publicly accuses Miranda, the competent General Manager, of sleeping with him during a business trip in a hotel the company paid for, humiliating her before the board. The scene establishes Jamil's arrogance and Miranda's professionalism under fire from the board. We then see Jamil's domestic chaos: his father furious he took the car without returning, and Jamil in bed with a woman named Winnie. Meanwhile, Miranda is shown as a workaholic whose friend Ego urges her to unwind, hinting at Miranda's isolation despite her career success. Complications deepen when Winnie reveals she is pregnant with Jamil's child, adding pressure to his already fragile position. In a candid conversation with his father, Jamil admits he does not want to marry Winnie because his heart belongs to Miranda, signaling a shift in his priorities. The tension peaks when Jamil attempts to apologize to Miranda in her office, but she rejects him outright, declaring his apology meaningless after he weaponized their intimacy to destroy her reputation.
