Storyline
SPOILERS AHEAD In A Ride Forever, Harriet is pressured by her father to work as a mechanic. Her friend tells her to "package" herself to attract a rich man. She meets wealthy Solomon at a lounge and creates a fake, posh persona. He invites her to his home, where she gets drunk, breaks character, and passes out. The next morning, a disappointed Solomon confronts her about the lies and coldly dismisses her. However, while Solomon is about to buy an expensive Porsche, Harriet's real talent saves the day. She steps out of the car and uses her mechanic skills to expose the dealer's scam, proving the car is damaged. Solomon is amazed and his feelings change. He apologizes and sees her true worth. Harriet admits she faked everything because she thought that was what he wanted. The film jumps one year later. Harriet and Solomon are happily together, watching football as her authentic self. Solomon proposes and she says yes. They visit her father, who is overjoyed not just for the marriage, but because Solomon helped save his business and land. The story ends with a celebration, showing that Harriet found love and success by being her true self.
