A Bride For The Season

Ayoola is a data analyst who is very unlucky in love. After his latest girlfriend leaves him, he gets an idea from a church sermon. He decides to have "faith" and books his wedding for December 25th, even though he has no bride. He hires Teni, a professional wedding planner. Teni is in a bad relationship with her boyfriend Femi, who keeps delaying their own wedding. She thinks Ayoola's plan is crazy but accepts the job because he pays very well. Ayoola and Teni spend weeks together planning. They choose a cake, a beach venue, and all the details. Ayoola starts to see that Teni is kind, hardworking, and perfect for him. Teni also sees that Ayoola is decisive and caring, unlike Femi. When Femi appears again only to postpone their wedding once more, Teni finally breaks up with him. On the wedding day, all the guests are at the beach. But the bride is missing. Teni is worried for Ayoola and sits with him to give comfort. Then, Ayoola reveals the truth. There was never another bride. His "faith challenge" was for her all along. He tells Teni he has fallen in love with her and asks her to marry him right there. Teni is shocked but says yes. She realizes Ayoola is the man who truly wants her. They get married immediately on the spot. Her phone rings during the ceremony—it is Femi calling—but she ignores it. Ayoola's faith has worked, and he found his bride by planning the wedding first.
