Storyline

After a street argument delays Amarachi, she is mocked at the job interview and still gets a trial offer by email. In 3 Worlds Apart, she tells her mother about the demeaning interview before starting work under a blunt businesswoman who scolds her over a wrong coffee, a sticky-note reminder, and a formal query. Her supervisor warns that one more mistake ends the job, and Clara, a co-worker, explains that past assistants have been fired quickly in an office built on gossip, loyalty, and survival. Clara later mentions to her widowed mother that Amarachi shares her birthmark behind the ear and her birthday, and her mother confesses that she adopted Clara from an orphanage because the family could take only one and another child was left behind. Clara searches for her birth family, and an orphanage worker reveals to Clara and Amarachi that their mother, Stella, died of an overdose years ago, that they were triplets, and that the third sister, named Sarah and now called Abike, was never adopted. Clara and Amarachi track Abike to a poor neighborhood, where she is in the care of Daddy Sogi. Abike mocks her sisters' clean clothes and educated accents, demands money for useless directions, and insists she does not need family. Daddy Sogi persuades her to listen, and once Abike accepts their shared orphanage and parentage, she agrees to go to the wealthier sister's house. The three then spend time together, laughing over food and catching up on the years they missed. Just as the sisters start to bond, one of them overhears another's boyfriend on an intimate call with another woman. Abike is convinced the man is deceiving them, the sister defends him at first, and the three plan a stakeout. They see him arrive with the other woman, confront him, and the wronged sister demands repayment of the money she loaned him. She shames him publicly, fires the woman beside him, and ends the relationship.
