Sarian Martin

Sarian Martin Oruene burst onto the Nollywood scene with her infectious energy and talent. Born on January 12, 1997, in Bayelsa State, Nigeria, she's the vibrant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Oruene, growing up in a close-knit Christian family of seven in Nembe. From her early days in school plays and church dramas, Sarian's passion for acting shone bright. She honed her skills with a Fine Arts degree from Niger Delta University, where she snagged the Face of NDU title in 2015 and Miss Pentecostal Nigeria in 2017. Moving to Lagos in 2019 kickstarted her pro career, landing her breakout role as Amaka in the 2021 series "Freda."

EARLY LIFE

Sarian Martin Oruene was born on January 12, 1997, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. She grew up in a family of seven with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oruene, and four siblings. Her early involvement in school plays and church productions sparked her passion for acting. She completed her primary and secondary education in Bayelsa State and earned a degree in Fine Arts from Niger Delta University (NDU).

CAREER

Sarian Martin began her professional Nollywood acting career in 2019 after graduating from university. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Amaka in the Africa Magic original love drama 'Freda'. She has starred in numerous Nollywood movies including 'Wives' (2023), 'Who Impregnated Keira' (2023), 'My Ride or Die' (2023), 'A Place Called Love' (2024), 'Beautiful Love' (2024), and 'The Man I Saved' (2024). Beyond acting, Sarian is a businesswoman, producer, presenter, model, and ex-beauty queen. She is the founder and CEO of SD Global Beauty Hub, a beauty salon and spa in Lekki, Lagos. She also works in interior design, sand supply, humanitarian services, and as an event MC and hotelier.

PERSONAL LIFE

Sarian Martin is currently single and not married as of 2024. She does not have any children. She is from Nembe and Ogbia in Bayelsa State and is of the Ijaw tribe. Her father, Mr. Martin Oruene, passed away in January 2018. She is a Christian.
