EARLY LIFE
Omeche Oko, whose full name is Priscilla Omeche Oko, was born around 1997 in Benue State, Nigeria, to the Idoma tribe and raised in the city of Jos, Plateau State. She is a trained screen and stage actor. She grew up in a large family of 11 children (five girls and four boys) in an estate environment that fostered a sense of community. Her passion for performance emerged early, influenced by the cultural richness of her surroundings. Omeche attended Plateau Private Primary School (PPS) and Baptist High School in Jos for her early education, before pursuing a degree in Theatre Arts at the University of Jos, where she honed her skills in stage presence, playwriting, and experimental productions. She is currently residing and working in Lagos State, Nigeria.

CAREER
Omeche Oko is a rising Nollywood actress, model, and entrepreneur, celebrated for her versatility in comedy and drama, as well as her natural emotional depth and relatable on-screen presence. In 2018, she moved to Lagos to pursue acting professionally, initially facing challenges with the social environment, financial constraints, and numerous rejections at auditions, which led her to briefly pivot to business before recommitting to film. She experienced industry pressures, including attempts to coerce her into compromising her values for roles. Her breakthrough came with a major role in an MTN advert, providing significant visibility, and shortly after, she secured a role in a popular Africa Magic series. Her short film The Broom and the Fly earned a nomination at the Realtime International Festival (RTF). Since then, she has been featured in over thirty movies, short films, series, stage plays, and commercials. Notable credits include Until You (2023), Sisterhood (2024), To Kill A Monkey (2025), Fame and Fury (2023-2024), A Ride to Love (2023-2024), The Safe House, Koma: Beyond Awakening, and appearances on Tinsel. She has worked alongside notable directors such as Imoh Umoren, Tola Odunsi, Uduak Isong, Darlington Abuda, Funke Akindele, Mary Remmy Njoku, and Olusola Roberts. Her works can be found on platforms like Africa Magic, YouTube, and ROK Tv. She has also featured in international commercials and played a notable character in the stage play “That Scoundrel Suberu”. She founded Primech Studios to produce content and mentor emerging talents.
PERSONAL LIFE
Omeche Oko is single and has no children, prioritizing her career while seeking a partner who understands the distinction between her on-screen roles and real life. She maintains a close relationship with her family, who initially hesitated about her acting ambitions but now support her, with her mother inquiring about shoots. Omeche values kindness, confidence, and curiosity in her personal ethos, often sharing motivational content online. She loves to take up challenging roles that deviate from potential stereotypes and sees each job as an opportunity to deeply study and embody a character. She is grateful to be part of Nollywood's boundary-breaking and new territory exploration. She stated that if she wasn't an actor, she would definitely be behind the camera, as the entertainment industry, especially filmmaking, is where she finds peace and calls home. She was recently selected as a contestant on a reality TV show called Naijahoodrep.
