Craig celebrates his upcoming studies in Canada with friends. The next morning, his parents Felix and Roseline discuss his trip. Frida Clement arrives with her daughter Ella, who claims Craig is the father of her unborn child. Craig denies knowing her. Roseline believes him and calls Ella wayward. Felix demands to see Craig's phone; Craig insists photos are cloned. Frida takes Ella for an abortion, but Ella refuses. Roseline kicks Ella out, but Felix intervenes, insisting she stay until a DNA test. Craig argues with Ella, still in denial. His friend encourages him to accept the truth, but Craig hopes his mother will handle it. Roseline eventually throws Ella onto the street. Homeless, Ella sells oranges at a construction site. Months pass. Craig, feeling guilty, secretly sends a man to buy all her oranges, but Ella refuses. One rainy night, Craig confronts Ella, apologizes, and admits the baby is his. He begs forgiveness and promises responsibility. Ella resists then embraces him. Craig brings her home. Roseline is furious, but Craig stands firm, declaring the baby is his blood. Felix returns and scolds Roseline. She apologizes to Ella, and they reconcile. With both families' support, Craig and Ella decide to pursue their dreams: Craig to Canada, Ella to America, while the baby stays with grandparents. After the baby is born and weaned, the young couple prepares to leave. The film ends with a hopeful toast as they drop Ella at the airport.
